I'm so glad to see that Julington finally has a sushi restaurant. The lunch special was pretty standard: two rolls, a lettuce salad, and clear/miso soup, but it was exactly what I wanted and under ten dollars! I tried the crazy roll (swapped out asparagus for avocado) and a spicy Krab roll. Even though they weren't special rolls, they were delicious and filling. If you like sushi, this place will easily meet or exceed your expectations based on other sushi places in Jacksonville. The staff greeted me upon entering, the establishment was clean, and the sushi was great. The largest selling point is that the location on racetrack means I no longer have to drive to another part of town for sushi!!

This place was amazing. I have been eating sushi for many years and have been to dozens of places. This by far was one of the cleanest restaurants with great and friendly service and the food was fresh and tasted EXCELLENT. I mean they even made a plain avocado roll taste so flavorful!! I highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back!!

Very great place to eat sushi around the fruit cove area. I love sushi and been to many, but this place looked amazing. It was very clean, lighting was nice, and a good place to take your date on. I came with my fiancé and his family. My future brother-in-law recommended this place because it had Unagi Don. I came only for the sushi. The menu is different from the normal sushi places because they categorized the different makes for you: raw rolls, deep fried rolls, cooked rolls. It's much easier to choose from for those who are picky about how they want their sushi. I'm a mixed sushi eater (raw fish and cooked). I ordered the Sushi King roll (cooked), King Salmon roll (cooked & raw), salmon roll (raw), spider roll (cooked), and the Rainbow Naruto (raw). All were amazing and delicious. My fiancé's family had the Shrimp Tempura Bento box, Unagi Don, Chicken Katsu Don, and Seafood Udon Soup. I tried the Chicken Katsu Don (my fiancé's bowl) and it was good. My future father-in-law finished all his seafood soup with nothing left so I'm assuming it was good as well. I recommend this place in the area! One of the best. Many thumbs up

My husband and I have been here twice already. This is a new location. The atmosphere is nice: low lighting, colored backlights, a TV, sushi bar. Both times we have gotten sushi. The sushi is excellent. We have had simple rolls such as spicy tuna and California roll, as well as special rolls like the mango roll, dragon, and a few others. I love the ones with the tempura shrimp. It's just right, not overly battered. The staff are always friendly, and they've given us an appetizer roll on the house both times.

Very rarely am I impressed with a new restaurant, but this wasn't the case tonight. My wife and I went out to celebrate a special occasion on a Monday night. Sushi King had just open a month ago and we decided to try it out. We walked in to a very nice atmosphere and were greeted at the door. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and the staff very inviting. We both ordered the clean soup and salad. We split a spring role and friend rice. I ordered a dynamite roll and a spicy tuna. My wife had her normal Philadelphia roll (yuck). The food came out right away and was exactly as we ordered it. The price was reasonable and everything correct. All and all, extremely pleased. We will be back to try more.

Loved it. We went there because we received a coupon. The food was great and quick. We ordered 2 rolls we knew and 2 rolls we've never had. The waiter missed our miso soup but I didn't even recognize it because the rolls were so good.
